NOTE: Once an original member of Morning Musume, Yuko now is a soloist in the Hello! Project. Even before there was a sub-group, Yuko did solo projects, mainly singing in the traditional Enka style. Her first single was released the summer of 1998. Since then her style has shift to a more pop feel.
Yuko is the host of Hello Moni's, Hello Project Wired or HPW, a show which features herself, Asami and Makoto (and recently Sayumi). She has also appeared on all of the Folk Songs CDs, and appeared in several doramas.
